Members Stampede Harry Buffalo

Columbus youth welcome warmer weather by taking a recreational field trip to Harry Buffalo for dinner and a Spring Egg Hunt.

Buffalo are migrating into Ohio! On Tuesday, over 30 of our 6-8 year olds ventured out to Harry Buffalo, a new partner restaurant that features wings and a family-oriented atmosphere. Our members joined the Harry Buffalo herd in a private room upstairs and enjoyed a feast of wings and pizza.

Afterwards, the kids were ready for their Spring bags! Originally, an outdoor egg hunt was on the agenda. With the forecast of rain, our friends at Harry Buffalo bagged the eggs and were prepared for an indoor event.  Most eggs contained candy, but four lucky kids had an egg containing a penny, indicating that they won a basket generously donated by the restaurant!

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus, we love any reason to celebrate our members.  When partners reach out to collaborate, it reminds our youth that they are valued and appreciated. Resource Development Coordinator Taylor Hallowell shared, “It’s a great opportunity to cultivate relationships with new community partners, and Harry Buffalo took the initiative to contact us and organize the event. We are so lucky to have them supporting our mission. Our kids always eagerly embrace new experiences like this one.”
