That’s Music to Our Ears

What better way to inspire young musicians to hone their skills than giving them the opportunity to be a recording artist for a day!  Thanks to the Kirk Horn Foundation and members of the band, Caamp, our youth spent an evening recording a song they wrote and performed at BGCC’s recent “A Place to Become” annual fundraising gala. The collaborative piece titled, “It is a Blessing” was written by members after taking just six months of guitar lessons at the Club.  Through a partnership with the Kirk Horn Foundation, our youth are boosting their academic, physical, and social skills, as well as their self-esteem through the gift of music.
